Overland To India. In the autumn of 2008, author Gordon May travelled from the UK to the Royal Enfield factory in Chennai, India, on a 1953 500 Bullet. The website contains details of many improvements and modifications made to the bike in prepartaion for the journey plus details of his book, Overland To India.
Overland To Vietnam. The next journey! Gordon will be heading from the UK to Vietnam through Central and South East Asia on his 1941 G3L Matchless. The new website contains details of the route, equipment used and modifications made to the motorcycle.

The BSA Bantam Club. A club for riders and enthusiasts alike; to encourage members to get maximum use of, and enjoyment from, BSA Bantams. The club now has more than 600 members and produces a quarterly magazine, Bantam Banter.
The BSA Owners Club provides essential information and support for all BSA owners, including technical support, machine dating, events to attend and a network of branches where you can meet fellow BSA enthusiasts. Club members receive a 40 page monthly magazine, The Star.
Rex Caunt Racing specialise in high quality Bantam engine parts and ignition conversions. All of our replacement engine bearings and seals came from Rex. The inner crank seals that blew on my first ride were replaced with top quailty Viton rubber seals for greater durability. Rex's advice on the engine rebuild has been invaluable.

Moving the Bantam around to have work done to it is made easy using a Motolug collapsible trailer. Superbly designed and constructed to a high standard in the UK, the Motolug S7 folds away into the boot of my car or garage when not in use.

To enter and cross Libya with your own vehicle you will need the assistance of a local tour company who will provide a guide and arrange your visa. I used Temehu and found them to be completely reliable, fair and committed to helping me have an enjoyable and successful journey. The guide I was allotted, Essa, was exceptionally friendly, helpful and accommodating.
